Its a Mini One D Pimlico model - 2011 - 63k, good condition, FSH, new back brakes and tyres all changed recently0

Quite high mileage but FSH. What did wbac offer? This would retail for around £9,000 from a trader. I suspect they would offer around £6,300 as they are sharks.Je suis sabot...0

21K a year for 3 years sounds entirely sensible for a modern diesel.
I wouldn't touch it with someone else's pole if it were less than that.0 -
It was £6,200 from We Buy Any Car... you think they are sharks, a Mini dealer offered £5k!Hoof_Hearted wrote: »Quite high mileage but FSH. What did wbac offer? This would retail for around £9,000 from a trader. I suspect they would offer around £6,300 as they are sharks.0 -

It was at 15k when I bought it, clocked up the mileage going to/from work as my commute is 76 miles a day - as you say pretty standard for a modern diesel. Always looked after it, and had services, oil change, filters and brakes/tyres done0 -
And how much have you got it advertised for?valleyboy84 wrote: »It was £6,200 from We Buy Any Car... you think they are sharks, a Mini dealer offered £5k!0 -
The price they quoted you seems rather good from looking on autotrader to see what they are fetching.
There are a few on autotrader now that you can buy now and sell to them at a profit. I dont think thats right?
I have a feeling that they will be super picky and deduct money for any tiny blemish, which there will be many.Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0 -
I think you have to be realistic here.
Its not the same car but is comparable if you're considering spending over £6k on a Diesel, Perry's are offering pre reg Citreon C4 VTR 1.6 Diesels @ £9995, whatever you may think of the marque thats 3 year warranted 1.6 Diesel motoring for very little more dosh than you are hoping for your MINI that is presumably out of warranty, plus its a private sale with no comebacks so you have to make it worth someone's gamble.
I'd try another ebay classified at around £6.5k and if its doesn't shift immediately i would be inclined to attend the We Buy Anyoldtat appointment and see if they honour the offer.
My son has sold to We Buy, he was scrupulously honest in his appraisal and they paid the full amount without the slightest quibble.0
