Hello
Just wondering if anyone had any quick suggestions to sell my car... I am due to get a company car in just over a week, so need to sell my current wheels (no outstanding finance).
I have gone down the approach of the usual websites - the webuy/wewant, ebay, Piston Heads, Pre Loved, Gumtree and the local Motors website, but very little interested so far...
Any golden nuggets much appriciated

What car are you trying to get rid of? Makes a whole lot of difference to advising to put it on Gumtree or pay for a flash colour ad in a glossy.0

If you have a price from the we buy your car for pennies brigade you will have an idea what its worth.
Stick it on ebay starting at that price or offers around 20% more.Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0 -
Still not getting much interest - dropped the price but still nothing
Less than a week until I pick up my company car now...0 -

What's the details?0

What car is it? If it's a popular car then it shouldn't be so difficult to sell. Time of year may play a part.0

Do you have anywhere to put it off the road? I wouldn't rush to sell it unless you really need it gone.
Have you tried an owners club website? ie if it is a Renault Clio you could go on a Renault Owners site to see if anybody wants to buy it from there?
Like you have said Pistonheads but I think this is more for performance cars.
I have sold my last 2 cars that could be classed as performance on Auto Trader, it was quite pricey but we managed to get what we wanted so didn't mind.
Ironically the car before was a 1.2 clio which sold on Pistonheads!0 -
if you want golden nuggets you'll need to respond to the questions already asked (posts 3 & 8).
Make model year mileage colour extras condition FSH etc etcThe questions that get the best answers are the questions that give most detail....0
