I bought a Ford from a broker and have had it serviced and repaired at my local dealer under warranty with no problems.

My local Ford, Citroen and Skoda dealers couldn't get anywhere close to the prices on DtD.

My local dealers have always been perfectly happy to deal with my lease cars and everybody elses which were sourced centrally.

Getting back to my original post.
Has anyone bought a new car from a car broker through a far off dealership and then after receiving the new car had a few teething problems and gone to local dealer to have them sorted out and encountered any reluctance from them to deal with the problems due to the fact you bought from broker? Or indeed bigger problems and local dealer been reluctant?

A few months ago I bought an M3 through a car broker through a far off dealership. I cant remember the name of the dealership, but it was in Narnia so you could look it up as I don't think many BMW dealerships there.

The local dealership sorted out some minor niggles I had, mainly through a wardrobe falling on my car. Sorted now anyway.
