I've had (very) satisfactory work done at short notice by a Leicester Peugeot dealer on my Peugeot France warrant when had a problem whilst visiting family in the uk. They even left the satnav computer and clock settings in French as I asked them to!0

Has anyone bought a new car from a car broker through a far off dealership and then after receiving the new car had a few teething problems and gone to local dealer to have them sorted out and encountered any reluctance from them to deal with the problems due to the fact you bought from broker? Or indeed bigger problems and local dealer been reluctant?0 -

I bought a Punto from a broker in 2004 and had no issues whatsoever with the local Fiat dealer taking my money for service & repairs.
Bought my current Hyundai from Motorpoint and again, not had any issues at all with being looked after by the dealer servicing dept.0 -

That did happen to me once with a small Toyota.
After buying it I decided that I really didn't like the lack of rear brakes, so approached the dealer to see if I could have some fitted as an option. Their response was to ban me from their premises without warning!0 -
Should have bought a car from their executive brand Lexus, they have rear brakes fitted as standard!0

What car are you looking at?
What car do you have for a trade in?0 -
If you're looking to buy from Carfile then you'll most probably need to collect the car from a Midlands dealership.
