Identify Lloyds Policy Payments

Ahh OK thanks, I will use the term 'Complain' rather than 'Claim' in future0

So why would I need all that insurance
You are focusing on PPI reasons. PPI covers debt. The products you have do not cover debt. Anyone can take out private medical insurance. You typically find the self employed/business owners are more likely to take out things like these. So, everything you say helps the banks argument. Not yours.and after all the bank didn't offer these insurances as an option but as a condition of the giving me the Overdraft facility ... they coerced and blackmailed a good solid reliable customer, who trusted them to deal with me with integrity.
And your evidence to support that allegation is?
What you say may well have happened. However, each case is looked at on its own merits and the evidence available. You may get lucky and Lloyds pay out. Banks are very scattergun in the way they deal with complaints. They reject ones that appear obvious mis-sales and pay out on ones that should be rejected. However, your reasons are very weak and evidence is likely to be non-existent.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). Cant believe they will get away with it.
Yes it does seem very random, why should Lombard settle my claim swiftly without issue, but Lloyds be allowed to drag their feet so much, its infuriating.
I will re-open the case and see what happens, then its off to the Ombudsman.0 -

Because lombard sold PPI. These are not PPI.Cant believe they will get away with it.
They might now. As I said, your complaint is weak on paper but you may get lucky. I have seen weaker complaints succeed and stronger complaints fail.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). I'm not sure why this thread continues?
The OP needs to put his "complaint" in writing to the Bank. He has already been advised by everyone who has responded here that none of the insurance he thinks was mis-sold to him was PPI and that it is unwise to try and use PPI complaint reasons.
The Bank will have eight weeks in which to consider any complaint the OP makes. In the meantime, I can't see there being much else to discuss in this thread.0 -
The insurances were all foisted upon me as 'payment protection insurance', so maybe not PPI in name.
In my mind they are all related, the insurances were mis sold, with the bank using the excuse of me requiring the insurances - to ensure I could be back at the wheel as soon as possible to make sure the overdraft would be repaid, but surely that is what the Commercial Overdraft Repayment Insurance was for ??0
