Also because he doesnt have a cylinder to exchange there will be a hire charge for the cylinder about £50?
No - it's a full bottle, delivered and no exchange needed. No deposit required!
I've used them, have you?
They delivered to my door. Full bottle, no exchange is needed. Read the website and all those that have used them on HUKD too!
That size is currently out of stock but there are others that aren't.0 -

The propane itself is not expensive, the nozzle is expensive and I think that cylinder needs a valve, nozzle, extension tubing & filling. Total bill £120+
Just looking for a ready to go solution, in a tank. Manifol/intake cleaner is best because it is formulated to be safe inside the engine, wd40 and the other stuff is likely to have all sorts of chemicals which some might not be any good inside the engine.
Propane is the "special ingredient" that will rev the engine up when it gets into the engine, i think manifold cleaners use propane predmoninately.
It's a full bottle. Just requires a £5 regulator and a piece of hose. £120?? try £20 all in including gas, bottle and bits.
More gas too with 6kg so the explosion should be far more impressive!0 -
Surely easy start or anything similar would do?
Maybe get someone with more than half a brain to look at it.
Unplug maf see what happens.
More likely to be a sensor to be bouncing that much.0 -
A vacuum leak is more likely to cause acceleration problems, bogging down under load etc.
I think your issue is the idle control valve, the throttle valve or the lambda sensor.“I may not agree with you, but I will defend to the death your right to make an a** of yourself.”

I have used this technique, with wd40, but that was looking for leaks on car fitted with carbs, and no engine electrics. I'm not sure it would even work on a modern car.0

It works fine on a motorbike with fuel injection and electronic engine management. I can't see why a car would be different. A leak drawing air into the inlet tract is a leak, whether carbs or injectors. If someone is nice to you but rude to the waiter, they are not a nice person.0 -
I needed to clean the manifold anyway, so I used a throttle body cleaner instead of propane so I could use the same product for cleaning afterwards.
Used a piece of plywood to block spray from the block, although the risk was minimal anyway as I was spraying away from the block. Found a cut in one of the pipes which was causing the engine to rev up when I spray on it.
I covered the tube with electrical tape and seems to be doing the job now. I need to source a durable pipe to fit in its place now.0 -
Is your car road legal now?0
