    My mum got given a 3GS this week coming from a Samsung Galaxy S3 mini which she hated.


    She loves the 3GS (upgraded to IOS 6.1.6). It runs all the apps she wants it too (sure you have to download older versions of the eBay app and such like, as a lot of newer apps are only compatible with IOS 7 and above) but its still fine, pretty snappy and certainly much better than the Samsung it replaced.


    I guess it depends what you want to use the phone for :)
