Year 8 homework

how much homework should Year 8s be getting from a CoE Acadaemy? my kid's school only gives approx. 20-30 mins per week; plus the odd project during each half term, but even that does not take more than 10mins extra per week when I see my kid doing his work. I thought he go more homework in primary school! what do other…

Indeed, Y8 will have perhaps 10 subjects, so that is 45 minutes x 10 a fortnight, or about 3 hours 45mins homework a week.

Sometimes it will be more, sometimes less...

I guess it depends on how meaningful the homework is.

Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')
Would've = Would HAVE (not 'of')
