Renewal O2 contract
Hi all
Been as a two man company very happy with O2. We have a sim only 2 phone contract paid by DD by our company.
We were approached by Aerial Direct (An O2 centre of excellence!!) and renewed by phone being told we had a £4 a month loyalty discount.
However it turns out that this is in fact a £2 (x2) rebate to individuals that needs a DD.
O2 said they could do nothing but that we could deal direct once the 2 year contract had ended.
Now Aerial Direct say they can pay by cheque six monthly.
So there is a solution but we do not like to deal with companies who sell in a dubious manner, seek individuals data, and encourage tax evasion (after all who declares the £24/yr on their tax return as a benefit?)
So Qs:
Should we push to cancel the contract using Ofcom if needed?
Do people who register for this get uncalled for marketing and sales calls/mail/emails etc.?
