I know a couple who generally take in a bottle of wine and a couple of glasses ...I try not to get too stressed out on the forum. I won't argue, i'll just leave a thread if you don't like what I say.0

Just what I need, sitting next/behind/in front of someone eating a big mac/crisps/popcorn. Yuk. cant you eat before or after?0

Yes, generally take in Fruit Shoots for little ones and a small bag of sweets each. Cinema food and drinks tend to be quite large for very young children, and sharing results in lots of passing to-and-fro, and ultimately spilling.
Even if I go with other adults I'll usually take a box of Malteasers in my handbag, but I do buy a drink if I'm thirsty.0 -

It was almost certainly me and my friend!!!!!!:o:rotfl:Reason for edit? Can spell, can't type!0 -
We always take a couple of bottles of wine in and some glasses (there are five of us who go). One of my dreams is as the film starts to fire off a champagne cork!
You can take alcohol in as they sell those overpriced glasses of wine (with foil on top) in the foyer. Whether they are happy taking your own bottle in is a different matter!0 -
A cheap cinema has opened in my town £4 a ticket and £2 on Orange Wednesdays :T
They don't bat an eyelid when people bring food in. Lots of the teenagers at the weekend walk in with Maccy D's and alsorts
I normally take in sweets but their drinks and popcorn is so cheap its easier to buy theirs. For example combo deal with 2 large drinks (equivalent of the biggest one at the Vue) and a bucket of popcore (again quivalent to the biggest in Vue) is £7.40 which I think isn't bad at all
Is it a Premiere?
We have one near very reasonable food prices, much cheaper than the Vue the other end of town. It might not have fancy schmancy seats but it makes for a cheap night out. At £4 a ticket you can't go wrong.Accept your past without regret, handle your present with confidence and face your future without fear0 -
Think it depends which cinema you're off too. We usually take our own sweets and a small bottles of pop each.
Odeon - no problem with taking sweets, chocs, drinks etc in
Showcase & Vue - we have to sneak them in, but no problem as long as you don't make it obvious
Cineworld - very difficult as they actually ask you to open any larger bags before going in!XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX:wave:XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX0 -
