Hi last made payment this year to company not Lowell! Thanks0

Sorry should have said companies are ikano and new day0

Worth sending a CCA request per account.
If they don't have the original, any chance of court action will be greatly reduced.
They ought to accept £10 per month on debts that size.
As said before, everything in writing.
Good luck

Hi guys update and looking for more advice? Sent off my letters offering repayment and called them up as heard nothing nice girl told me letter on way accepting offers just wait. Still nothing so called today very arrogant chap telling me letter sent out few days ago then started pressuring me for income expenditure details and asking me if I owned my house or rented! Do I have to supply this information? Ended up telling him I was hanging up and would just wait for confirmation of arrangement to set up standing order he was not happy at all trying to get debit card details and bank details! I'm worried now as I have a mortgage? Am I just bring paranoid! I have the extension of the original girl I spoke to should I just call her back or do a letter again confirming when I want my standing orders to begin? Help0

No, you don't have to give them any of that info. This is why the advice is to do everything in writing and stay off the phone as they will do and say stuff they would never put in writing.
What exactly are they sending you?
Did you submit CCA requests?:beer:0 -
Hi there they are sending out confirmation of my offer of repayment to say they accept it and give me standing order details! I didn't think I could dispute these as I have been making payments to the companies in question recently! Also with this repayment they should be paid off in 2 years or so hoping before that they may give me a lower settlement though as a lot of the balance was 12 pounds late fees etc! So I'll wait on my letter in writing and will setup my standing order for them and thank you I will stay off the phone! As regards the mortgage etc is that anything to worry about thanks!0

You can submit a CCA request whether paying if not.
Worth it, as may help with settlement offers.
You can complain, in writing about the £12 fees. They may remove at least some of them.
You can still pay while doing the above.

Hi, I had a debt with Lowell's that i've now paid off. I found that they were willing to accept, as per i&e statement, £30 pm on a £1750 debt. They weren't great on their offer of a settlement figure though...think it was 80pc but overall i found, unlike some of the others, that they were reasonable-ish...0

Happy bunny many thanks I will begin my repayments in January that's when first standing order comes off I have written letter to inform them! I'm really wary about filling in this income expenditure form with all my details am I obliged to fill in? Will also do CCA requests very soon and see if gets me a good settlement many thanks! Should I complain to Lowell about all 12 pound fees? Regards0

Pinnit I've worked out it will be about 4 years til these debts are paid off is that reasonable is that how long you took to pay off did you have any hassle with them at all? Regards0
