was happily married 18 years, oh went to work away and ended up not contacting anyone for 4 weeks (was abroad) excuse was had no communication signal ect when got back, to cut a long story short ended up finding out was seeing a phillipino girl he had met abroad, soul mates and all that!
I later found out when was sending me very little money had bought her an engagement ring, laptop, phone, given 500 for a property deposit for her parents, is paying for her education ect,
I started divorce proceedings, we decided what I would get for little one per month and secured a pvt rented flat, I am not in it yet as waiting change of school and removal costs etc, what maddens me is he sent her the money for a uk marriage visa without telling me he was planning to re-marry!! that was 840- then sent her the money for a english test as part of the visa application process, has agreed to sponsor her when she reaches the uk.
gave me a date of when I needed to be out by!!!! and now has sent her another 1k (as she told him send manila an extra 380 and we shall get the visa to the top of the pile!! and then sent her more for education?????
now hes worrying about finding the flight money!!
question is has stated I am entitled to 20k from this property which was purchased in his and his ex wifes name before i moved in,
30k left owed on mortgage and is worth around 170k, but I will only
recieve that if he sells or remortgages!!!!
I am disgusted at this behavior and keeping the peace for the sake of our little boy, also worried that she is scamming him but who knows, if she does move in what if the maintenance stops? as will be paying for her and mortgage and bills? and us?
and if he stops paying then I wont be able to pay the bills at new place, he has said that if I get a court order for them to take it out
of his wages he will go work in non eu country where he wont have to pay anything and leave the house in the hands of his solicitor!!
so that is where I am at at mo small progress with flat that I have tenancy and sitting empty as I cannot afford removals cooker etc until end of the month when get maintenance

Is there no way you can take him to court to ensure that he either sells the house or buys you out?I can't add up.0

Have you
1) Contacted a lawyer?
2) Put in a maintenance claim with the CSA?
3) Made sure your claiming all the benefits that you're entitled to?0 -

my name is not on the house, its in his and his ex wifes name (was never sorted out in court on there divorce over 20 years ago!) he has been back to court before all this ) not resolved but I do know he was arranging a meeting with his ex few weeks ago to ask her to remove her name in exchange for a sum? which he would give her (if and when he sells or remortgages!! obv never told me what happened and he is def up to something, I did see a txt saying (once they are out meaning us I expect then I will transfer paperwork into your name,
but again didn't have any specifics as to in what sense... I am waiting to hear from the courts in respect of the divorce to see what is said.0 -

don't have a solicitor as on benefits and cannot afford, the divorce I have done myself all just one big mess0 -
You really do need to see a solicitor - if he is the father of your child, then you need to secure his/her future and maintenance.0

I hope you've closed any joint accounts/credit cards, etc? And don't have your name to any expenses, such as loans, that are only his?0

You need a lawyer and you need to regsiter your interest in the property (put a charge or restriction on it) urgently.
Doing a divorce without sorting out the finances is a bad idea.
And go to the CMS NOW and put in a claim. Keep the evidence of what he is sending as this indicates income (in case you is doing something dodgy). If you've have not made a mistake, you've made nothing0 -
You do need to see a lawyer - you could well get Legal Aid (contact the Citizens Advice Bureau).
Your OH will find it difficult to bring his foreign 'bride' here - he has to make applications to the Home Office etc and they don't hand out visas like sweets nor to bigamists.
Instead of moving out of the house, you should have stayed put because your OH has to keep a roof over the head of his child. Refuse to move out.0 -
You need legal advice to ensure that you get a fair settlement for your son. After that, whatever he does with his money is his business. There is no point worrying about what may or may not happen in the future, until it happens. Hopefully the house will be sold soon and you can then move on.0
