MSE John Greed Deal

I ordered two of these sets on 12th and delivered 15th. Was slightly disappointed on the 'presentation' but not a deal breaker. Worse though, there is only one set in the envelope and I have paid for two!! Anyone else missing a set?
Update:
I spoke to customer services first thing Monday morning. No quibble at all. Missing set received next day.0 -
I ordered mine on Wednesday still hasn't been delivered yet? Can anyone post a pic of what they actually look like? Ordered as a gift and don't want to leave it too late to find an alternative if they aren't very nice. Thanks0

Given that 10,000 sets were sold, maybe good for MSE to get feedback.
My three sets arrived yesterday. Pleased to see I'm not the only one disappointed. The web photos looked much nicer than the items actually are. In reality, they look just like costume jewellery.
The items are very fragile (read: not very well made).
Necklaces: The length seems fine - just. The pearls are not as round or have the lustre as on the photos. The threading on one necklace is starting to fray at the clasp. The lobster clasp is small (therfore fiddly)and feels like it could break after a few uses.
Bracelets: as others have said, so small! One bracelet has both ends sewn onto the one link so it is not even possible to undo it.
Earrings: The pearl drop earrings are nice, but of course cannot try on to see if it sits nicely on the lobe. The silver hook is very fine. Probably OK but not possible to see the drop.
Free Crystal studs: The posts on two of the three sets are bent. The studs are kinda big and look like they are from Christmas crackers.
Each set was inside a cardboard envelope (you can see if you hover over items on their webpage). Of course all three envelopes were pierced by the studs.
I will send back for a refund. Like others, I cannot bring myself to present them as gifts - even to teenagers, it's too embarrassing! Definately not worth the RRP. Could do better with costume jewellery elsewhere.0 -
Is the bracelet the size their website states? Or is it smaller?
Size Guide
Necklace length: 45cm with a 5cm extender chain
Bracelet length: 18cm with a 3cm extender chain
Pearl earring size: 0.6cm x 1.5cm
Crystal earring size: 0.6cm
I know they will need to be repackaged into a gift box because it says
Presented in official John Greed Jewellery packaging
This product will come in John Greed flat pack packaging. It will fit through your letterbox and so you will not need to be in to receive it. If you would like it in John Greed luxury gift packaging, please purchase it here. However, you will then need to be in to receive your jewellery, since it will not fit through your letterbox.
does anyone have any pics?0 -
I have pictures but it wont let me put them on, so if anyone knows how I can show them.
And the annoying thing I have been a member for years could not remember details.0 -
Thank Katrina72 I don't have a clue how to post pics, I have saw a few on ebay who are selling but pictures aren't great I suppose its one of those thing that you cant really judge till you see in real life.

the bracelet is about 16cms of pearls with about 3cm of extension so 19cms altogether just about does up on me0

Another totally dissatisfied customer here, bought as a present, but would not insult anyone with this.0
