The Vetty person says that Docky is 100% physically fit, everything working 100% but he has senility poor old lad. There are things that can help and we've got 10 days worth of the first to try, if that doesn't work we'll work our way through them until we find one that does. Vet says they are very effective. He's taking bloods on Friday morning to make certain all the internal organs are fully functioning as that could cause similar problems if they aren't, again it's treatable. Thank you all, each and every one of you for your support and love, given freely and so very much appreciated by us. You are all pretty amazing you know that? Love and hugs Lyn xxx.0

Popped to see my dad this morning. Bless him, he has quite an active social life but it is starting to show that he lives alone. I don't want to offend anyone on here but in my experience people who live alone, when they meet someone they seem to have to make up for not chatting to anyone at home and rattle on about anything just for the sake of talking!
My Mom spent the last few years avoiding people who she didn't like (which was most people) and her speech is severely limited now. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -

This is the case with Molly Doggy and makes for an interesting but fun time. So pleased for you xxxI must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.0 -
Mrs LW I'm so glad the vet has given Docky some new medication to try. Our dog went senile very quickly, she didn't know what she wanted, in and out, up and down. We decided to have her put to sleep as she wasn't the dog we knew and I was concerned that she would snap at someone (we had a lot of young children in and out of the house).
Docky has certainly got wonderful owners, hope you see an improvement soon.
DD made cottage pie (minus the mash for me) and it was really rather tasty, she can cook again!
The weather has been awful this afternoon, torrential rain and windy, glad I don't have to go anywhere!
Take care. XX0 -
