IIRC, the reason for a regular thread was so that end-date compers don't miss out until the very last week, (Or end of year if that's what date posters were putting.)

Posters would therefore need to put the last date that week's comp could be entered and post in on the main board each week to suit everyone. That's what I do for the Dorset comp I post when the prize changes each week.

There's a really useful post in Regs that lists comps that run on a particular day, but sadly it's out-of-date. If we're going to lose weeklies, could just this one could be revamped? That would be fab!

someone has volunteered to take over the thread in the new year, however is it worth having a poll to see if people would prefer them on the main board?

    2 options would be

    A. carry on as we are with the weekly thread and weeklies on regs if they are ongoing and main if not

    B. lose the weekly thread and all weeklies moved to main board as the monthlies were and posted as a new thread each week, regardless of how long they run for so no one misses out on the early draws

If I do a poll I'll put a thread on the main board with an end date so everyone has a chance to vote wether they visit ccc or not

  • I think their should be a poll personally.

i am for ' B. lose the weekly thread and all weeklies moved to main board as the monthlies were and posted as a new thread each week, regardless of how long they run for so no one misses out on the early draws '

I think it will be a lot easier to do and then i don't have to check on the weeklies thread and that.

Good idea to do a poll.
