Where's everyone gone? Sunning themselves in paradise no doubt
I've doubled my August total, now up to £440 -
I'm still here triple choc chip and still putting my ££'s in my tin;)
Sorry to hear about your savings Mr CF, hope you are okay.

Is it wrong to say I have bought some more xmas presents just now, from my xmas savings account (well it will be paid from there when the credit card bill comes in)...
I'm glad I joined this challenge as I know I [STRIKE]have[/STRIKE] had £501 to play with, but hope I dont need it all and it will go towards treating myself to a nice birthday present,
It will be good not having to worry about the January credit card bill, I will enjoy not having that issue, but still talking about it at work...
I will suggest to anyone I see to do the same, as I have this year, much easier then having to budget your december pay.
I aim to buy all my presents with the Sept/Oct/Nov pay then December becomes mine, I will have more the play with this year...
I am still going to pot, till then end of the year though as a back up, so I have transferred £17 to bring myself up to the end of August, and then I will reduce my figure when the credit card bill comes in.
Form submitted for August (£31)
Well done to all those still here and enjoying the ride, its only 123 days to go now
:-)
**Note to CrimeFiction, my total on the spreadsheet doesn't add up, doesn't include my last month total although it was added to the correct month, so when you add this month total can you check the adding up. I don't see anything wrong with it Westie, it's whatever suits you. Either way it takes a huge pressure off for Christmas.
I did this challenge last year and it made a massive difference to us, I managed to save £500 last year and am hoping for double that this year. I'm in the habit of putting ££'s in my tin(s) now;)
£2 in for today;)

My saving is not happening at the moment, and the amount in the pot is going down at the moment
My husband had a stroke last week, and so I've had to raid the pot for change for car parking. £36 so far, but plan to put it back once he is home. It's not the money I have needed, but the change.
Also thinking I might not use the money for Christmas, as we will find the money for that anyway, but looking at short break, somewhere rural and relaxing, once he is back on his feet instead.Zebras rock0 -
