Cost to fit lintel above rear door?

We're currently in the process of buying a house and one of the issues our survey picked up was that the rear porch door was difficult to open because there was no lintel above it, causing the bricks above the frame to sag.
I'm trying to ascertain how much, if anything, this should affect our negotiations on purchase price (there were other issues besides this one). The porch is single-skin brick construction with a small pitched roof.
This feels like it could be a relatively straight-forward DIY job but I'd like to have an idea of how much it would cost to have this done by a builder. I'm no expert but this feels like it shouldn't be more than half a days work for a good builder? What sort of cost would we be looking at including materials, assuming the door frame isn't so badly warped that it needs replacing?
Am I right in saying that the process is essentially, prop the opening with an acro, remove bricks above door, fit lintel, re-secure frame?
Also, if I was to do this myself, what sort of material cost would I be looking at? Thanks!

Had one quote from a local builder, he initially said about £200, then said £250 should cover including any making good of the internal plaster. Bit more than half a days work, plastering would have to be done another day. I'll try and get a few more quotes but does that sound about right?0
