PlusNet retention deals for existing customers?

I'm on Plusnet 12 month reduced monthly fee for unlimited BB (not fibre) (as a then new customer -also got some Quidco cash back) which will expire in a few months , likely to stick with them but wondered if there would be any chance of a retention deal offer ? Has anyone had any luck with this, eg asking for their MAC? I'm assuming the latest offers and cashbacks are not for existing customers?

    I managed to get 40meg fibre for £10 for 18 months (was £14.99), and earlier this year got standard BB for £3.75 for 12 months after quoting a Sky deal which was that price at the time.

    If you call and say you want them to match/beat the new customer or competitor deals, you've a fair chance of getting what you want, albeit on a new 12/18 month contract

    I phoned their Customer Options team back in June, when both my previous b/band deal and line rental saver were up. Got offered a very good 24 month discount on the unlimited b/band with Evening/Weekend calls included and renewed my LRS at the same time.
    I'm getting both now for ~ £18 pm -on a Market 1 exchange -this is better than any other deal I could find including Sky.

    Hi all,

    @Patr100

    As per what brewerdave mentioned I'd give our customer options team a try.

    They'll give you the best offer we're able to do as we're keen to see if we can offer you a deal that's best for you whilst taking the opportunity to see if we can retain your valued custom.

    The contact details and opening hours for that team are published here: http://www.plus.net/support/service/policies/cancellation.shtml

    All the best,

    Ok, having rechecked I've got quite a few months to go before my first year is out , but I will consider the options nearer the time.

    I am on 18 month unlimited bb, 12 month on and it's a rock solid service.
    Prices about to jump to £9.99 from Jan 2015 till May when the contract ends.

    Called and said I am shopping around even tho the contract is only running for 12 month, was offered £4.5/month for 24 month. Sound good so with LRS upfront this is £17.48/month all in.

    I contacted Plusnet and they could not offer me the free 6 months fibre that is available to new customers.
