Vodafone Dongle

I have been stung with a bill for £243 run up within 3 weeks for basic browsing online. Has anyone else experienced this with Vodafone? What was the outcome?
On Friday 7th November I received an automated message telling me I owed £189. I rang customer services straight away but was told their ''systems were down'' and to ring back in the evening.
The first chance I had to ring back was Monday morning when I was told my bill was £300+ but that then went down to £243. When the Vodafone agent put me on hold I was recycled back to the team and I had to go through the process again with another agent. When she put me on hold I waited on the line for half an hour before giving up and hanging up. Terrible customer service!!

What happens when you look at your account online? The bill for my vodafone dongle shows up with individual detail including any charges made, for example over and above the included amount.0

It's quite confusing. It looks like sometimes they don't charge me for connecting and using and sometimes they do.

Also which tariff you are on and for how long the contract.0 -

I finally talked to a rep on the phone who looked at my bill and admitted it didn't look right. He thinks the dongle is faulty so i'm taking it to a store today so they can have a look. Fingers crossed!!0 -

If your boyfriend still needs help, ask him to email me with his details via the link in our profile here.
All he'll need to do is copy and paste the link into his web browser and it'll take him to the Contact us form on our website. To make sure it reaches me, he'll also need to quote the code WRT135 - MSE in the subject line.
Once sent, he'll receive an automated reply with a reference number. Post back with this and I’ll check I've received it.
