URGENT: car inspection going on now!

I'm VT'ing my car and theres someone here on behalf of advantage finance (hes from SMA auctions) inspecting the car and hes nitpicking the hell out of it If I dont' agree with the inspection report, can I refuse to sign it? Whats the best thing to do to avoid being ripped off here? The cars in good nick for a 5 year old…

Under the BVRLA guidelines, scratches up to 25mm are acceptable, provided the primer of bare metal is not showing.

Difficult to see how rust can be the driver's fault, unless there's some associated physical damage.
