I am a horrible human being, i am just worried about the poor cat!

Who gives a toss about the stupid cat? This is a persons life we are talking about.

It always amuses me how the British will walk over glass for animals and yet walk by if a person was dying in the street.

    F***ed up sense of priorities.

Why give a toss about the cat? Because animals always suffer from the result of us humans being selfish in our actions.

But it is possible to care about animals and human beings equally, one doesn't have to take priority over another :)

OP, I am sorry to hear about what is happening with your dad. But I fear you are too far away to really influence things positively. Does he have any friends or anyone nearby that you could get on your side to help?
