Flight delay compensation despite having accommodation paid?

Hi

I returned home from Cuba yesterday having had our flight delayed for 23hrs. We were able to stay at our hotel and did not have to fork out for any additional costs so i was wondering if we are still eligible to claim compensation? Also one of the passengers was an infant and i wasn't sure if i was able to claim for him swell as he didn't actually have a seat although we did pay full price for him?
