Totally confused why this has been moved from the Marriage board to Overseas Holiday & Travel Planning - she's not planning on travelling anywhere! :rotfl:

i think the point being made is this is the "overseas holidays and travel planning" section of MSE and you are doing neither

    yes i agree
i was just interested in the answers. Maybe a better thread opener would have been - which country would you like to live in?
I'm not sure how the thread got moved here.

I think this thread should have been moved to the Arms or DT.

It's nothing to do with marriage (where it started out) nor is it anything to do with overseas travel or holiday planning.

The OP asked a 'general question' that posters took to be a genuine enquiry about moving abroad - but it was nothing of the sort.

For any further threads you may wish to start - questions like this are better posted on the Discussion Time or The Arms boards.
You'll find them towards the bottom of the board list.

and how would this have been relevant to "overseas holidays and travel planning"?

as pollycat has pointed out this should really be in general chit-chat section rather than in here.

however, and i apologise if i offend you, but i have my suspicions that you are just trying to get your post count up so you can start posting links, because you do seem to be posting a lot in a very short time.

oh and if you are going to hang about on MSE maybe you should aquaint yourself with the shift key and turn your caps off!

I'm sure that it is not the case here. A quick peruse through the posting history would confirm it.
