Yeah, I don't get any of this either. If you want to live the 'English life' then stay here!
I know of so many people who have moved away to Greece, Turkey, Spain etc, and keep living as if they are in England! Refusing to speak the lingo, refusing to integrate (only mixing with other English expats,) and generally refusing to change anything about themselves to 'fit in' with the natives. It's just rude IMO.
I also think that quite a few people who moved overseas from England, are not as happy and chipper as they make out they are.
Nothing on earth would make me leave the UK, even if I won the lottery.Proud to have lost over 3 stone (45 pounds,) in the past year! :j Now a size 14!
You're not singing anymore........ You're not singing any-more!

Why restrict yourself to English speaking coutries? (you can always learn another language right)?
Do you have necessary skills that will allow you to work in the obvious English speaking countries like USA or australia?
Edited to add:
I just read that you are not actually looking to move. So what is the point of your question? I very much doubt there is a definitive answer to your question (or mine for that matter).0 -
