People avoiding meat for religious reasons is different and needs to be considered but it is possible that this school does not have anyone that needs to be considered due to this.
Hi,
You might want to visit specsavers as you are shortsighted in your opinions!0 -
Why is the choice of being vegetarian any less valid than not eating animal products based on religion? They are both belief systems. Why shouldn't vegetarians expect to be catered for?
Exactly. I'm actually quite gobsmacked that people think it shouldn't be taken into consideration.
I see someone has already mentioned it OP, but Home Bargains or that kind of store if probably your best bet.0 -
So OP, do you have any vegetarian/vegan or halal children in your school? And if you're going to cater for halal please don't forget the kosher children too, their needs are just as important as muslims.
Bet you wished you hadn't volunteered!Accept your past without regret, handle your present with confidence and face your future without fear0 -
Tesco do some bags of vegan and vege type sweets for about 33p a bag.0

Why not get the wee clementines that are so nice just now? Still a treat but saves all the hassle0

I don't want to hijack op's thread but I've got a similar question and I though I might as well ask in here rather than starting another very similar thread! My OH has to buy about 30 boxes of chocolates for people in his department at work, (roses, celebrations etc) where would be the cheapest place to buy them? is there anywhere he can buy in bulk? we've looked online and can't find any cheap deals but there must be something out there.0

For young children, usually neither are a choice, its what their parents have decided for them.0
