I think Bugatti will sell you one specifically designed for your Veyron..and most cars are too low to go up ramps; the front skirt/bumper hits the ramp before the wheels do.Optimists see a glass half full
Pessimists see a glass half empty
Engineers just see a glass twice the size it needed to be

I've a Clarke from machine mart.
Big, low, goes high.
Was well under £100, but was years ago.
For ramps I cut 2 squares of thick mdf, piece of baton along each, sit that between last 2 rungs, front doesn't catch.0 -
The solution has already been mentioned, get a suitable strip of board to carry around with the jack for it to roll on and it will allow you to use it on softer surfaces too. The jacks fine
I beg to differ, those cheap nasty little jacks are utter ***te. londonTiger if you want a proper trolley jack you need to be looking for something like this:
I got a 3T trolley jack like that for £80. Granted it isn't a big branded one but many of the branded ones are made by the same factory anyway - lots of Draper stuff is made by the same people who make Halfords tools and likewise cheaper non branded versions.
£80 and I've never had a moments hassle with it.I will say though, at 36Kg it's heavy and a pain in the grass to keep lifting in and out of the boot but its lifting range and power is immense. It will lift roughly 1.5ft which is a lot compared to a small cheap trolley jack. The lifting cup is also far bigger and firmer with less chance for the car to slip off the jack.0
