Decisions, decisions.
My current old handset is on its last legs, so I'm in the market for a new Android phone.
I like both of these phones, and on paper the Huawei is a better spec?
I can get the Huawei for £50 (cpw upgrade price), or the Moto E for around £60 (Tesco, Argos etc).
The Huawei is newly released in October, so I haven't found many reviews, but they are generally very good.
So should I take the plunge and try the Huawei?

I'd be more towards the Moto E, at least it is guaranteed the Lolipop update soon. The Ascend has Huawei's skin over it, you might like it but personally I prefer Android the way Google intended.0

I bought the Huawei Y550 for £49.95 CPW. I must say its very good for the price.
Its 4G
4.5 inches
1 GB RAM
5 MP camera
Quad-core 1.2 GHz
Android OS, v4.4.2 (KitKat)
Li-Ion 2000 mAh battery which i get 1 full day out of single charge.
What more can you ask for that price. What happens if you push this button?0 -

What you mean by that??:shocked:What happens if you push this button?0 -
The Moto E's 1.2 GHz processor is only dual core and its battery is irreplacable.
I'd ask for a doubling of the 4GB HDD of the Y530 to match the much improved spec, and would have been happy to pay the appropriate premium. As it is, I won't be buying because there'll be precious little space left to store the huge downloads that BBC iPlayer insist on nowadays.kingrulzuk wrote: »I bought the Huawei Y550 for £49.95 CPW. update - I got my paws on both phones to compare size, feel etc today, the Huawei is just too big to feel comfortable to me. The moto E and the Sony Experia felt much better, so I think it will be the Moto for me.
Thanks for your opinions all
