Hi there,
Just want to check something here.
I have got a Halifax CC, been with them for a while and 6 months back they had offered me a 1.5% deal on BT - 16 months ( which was a promo - 3% BT fees of which half was paid back with in a months time). So I had used up 25% of my Credit Limit on that.
This week, I got another promo offer, which is % BT or pay into the current acct offer which is for 12 months, now if I take it for another 25% of my Credit Limit ( thus taking me to nearly 50% of my whole Credit Limit) will it affect my initial borrowing which I made, or its promo offer?
I know the easier way to find this out is by ringing the Customer care at Halifax CC, but wanted to get some feedback on what the views are on this - and before anyone jumps the gun, I have plans for paying it off before next December, and have means to source this loan money before then.
My questions really is, if I do another BT / transfer now, will that affect my previous BT ( and thus the promotional rate) or these will be seen as 2 different entities with the same card??
