CPP refusing to reissue cheque

The CPP refund scheme put aside a £1.3 Billion pot of money to pay in redress to those affected but this had to be claimed (and cashed) in 2014.
At the end of the scheme, now more than five years ago, any money unclaimed went back to the originators of the scheme.

If the poster claimed before the scheme deadline and CPP agreed to pay redress why is he/she no longer entitled to the payment. Can one of you experts please clarify?0

As earlier in the thread, there was a refusal to re-issue such cheques five years ago so they certainly won't be honouring them now..0
