CPP refusing to reissue cheque

  • OK, so it's not recoverable, as I thought from reading the thread; however, the most interesting thing is "who's got the money"?
I honestly don't understand your curiosity here.

The CPP refund scheme put aside a £1.3 Billion pot of money to pay in redress to those affected but this had to be claimed (and cashed) in 2014.

At the end of the scheme, now more than five years ago, any money unclaimed went back to the originators of the scheme.

    The end.

If the poster claimed before the scheme deadline and CPP agreed to pay redress why is he/she no longer entitled to the payment. Can one of you experts please clarify?

The scheme ended in 2014 and the cheques issued had a six month validity which was a condition of said scheme.

As earlier in the thread, there was a refusal to re-issue such cheques five years ago so they certainly won't be honouring them now..
