:hello:
Been a bit unmotivated of late, so the best way to sort it is to start another thread and make something happen.
Spent the last week of June in Metz, and the last two weeks watching the Tour de France, so perhaps something French?

I had a good view during the prologue in London... :j
(This was Rabobank's Grischa Niermann, currently 93rd, 2hrs 9min 35secs behind team-mate and maillot jaune Michael Rasmussen. Nice of him to come so close!)*
So, suggestions please? Something that would keep that fella going for 240km and 6 hours, up and down mountains: about 6000 calories!
MBE
*Statement correct at time of going to press.

If you lend someone a tenner and never see them again, it was probably worth it.

You could try Delia Online & look for her cassoulet recipe, I've not made it for ages, but I seem to remember it contains meat, sausages & haricot beans.

how about a lovely french onion soup with lots of brandy, the onions cooked in butter and a piece of toasted baguetter on top, dripping with melted cheese.....mmmm. Delia again has a good french onion soup recipe but I do find her portions on the small side so one cyclist's portion may be two of Delia's!0
