I flew a flight from Manchester uk to Buffalo US last year, it was not a direct flight with Continental airlines. The flight touched down in Washington DC and we were then to fly on to Buffalo. When we got to Washington the flight was delayed, delayed again then cancelled. Customer service got us on a US airways flight from an airport nearby. We were delayed over 5 hours can we claim for this delay as technically it was not a flight from the U.K. but it was part of our original flight Manchester to Buffalo? Also Continental have offered us vouchers but we want cash can we demand cash?
