"Loans Direct UK" ...Please help.
I applied for a loan through "Peachy Loans" and received a message telling me I had been accepted and to enter my debit card details.
I did this but then realised I was actually no longer on the Peachy Loans website (even though it was in the same browser window), rather a company called Loans Direct UK (web address: loans-directuk DOT net).
Now it seems this company has already passed my details all over the place and is going to take out £69.95 from my bank account some time in the next two months
.
I cannot find any cancellation details on their website but would like to cancel immediately and to delete all my details.
Could anyone please help me with this? I know I'm stupid for appyling for a payday loan in the first place, but I've found myself in an unpleasant situation and now have just made things even worse.
I really appreciate any help.

Oh come on! A very quick Google takes me to the website - which has all sorts of information such as about Loans Direct, cancellation of your membership, refunds......
Click here - and read before you input your bank details in future0 -

If however you are not happy with your membership then we are happy to cancel your account.
You can do this by logging into your online membership area and going to the 'My Account' section.
Follow the instructions on the screen to cancel your account and request a refund.
However, in "my account" there is no such information. It just says to phone them up with any queries, which I don't wish to do. I would like to cancel my "membership" in writing and there is no information on how to do this.0 -
BTW, I cannot even login to "my account" as it requests a password that I didn't set. When I click on the link to reset my non-existent password, it says it has been sent to my mobile, but I receive nothing.0

Have you phoned the number they give for cancellations and refunds?0

Thank you for the reply, but it was not very helpful. There is not "all sorts of information such as about Loans Direct, cancellation of your membership, refunds
Yes, there is. In fact, this is one of the most transparent and informative broker sites I have seen. You should have made it clear in your OP that you don't want to call/have e-mailed but are too impatient to wait for a response. A quick call would be the quickest and easiest way of resolving this. Your aseertion that they will make a cancellation as difficult as possible is entirely unfounded.0 -
The phone number does work i have had same problem on wednesday they did not reply my emil and this morning took 69.75 out of my bank. I can not get through to them anywhere to get my money back, the phone take su to automated system and each option refers you back to the webiste where they do not respond. My advice is cancel your card right now or you wil lbe stuck like me, anyone know any number where I can get hold of them have tried 3 different numbers to no avail0
