Ovo energy - odd account suspension: can't get refund

Hullo, I switched to Ovo in May (after trying before but they seems to have lost my request!) and they are taking £99 out of my account by DD. however, it seems my meter readings are less than they thought...but when I asked for a Refund (I could do with that £500+ in MY bank account!) they say that they can't give me a refund, because they have suspended my account at the moment. They say, because of "unit rates being applied incorrectly - not the rates agreed on your welcome letter".

No billing since August...although the £99 is being taken monthly.
There is no timeframe on this being sorted and they say they have no idea how long it will take to fix...
Any experience anyone? Any advice? Anything I should be doing?
