Good news about the vouchers. I am definitely spending more on less shopping which is rubbish 😩

Glad you've got the vouchers.
I've also noticed what seems like massive price hikes.  I suppose they have to cover paying extra staff, drivers etc as they are now working longer hours and hace had to take on quite a few extra.

Great news on the vouchers PLMBL.
I have absolutely noticed the increase, but even more so as ive been avoiding Mr Al's and getting Mr T's to deliver! Ive also got the girls here every night and then during day (they go to ex's for 24 hours usually and DD1 has her lunch at school!) xx

  • Evening all!
Speaking to my Grandma the other day she was very down. Her little friend passed away (not Cov19) and she was feeling trapped and lonely. We decided to do a surprise drive by and took her some flowers, magazines and a bit of shopping. She was absolutely over the moon, and although we couldn’t get close for hugs or anything, it was a lovely time. This has seemed even more precious today as she was admitted to hospital  :'(. Looks like she’ll need a pacemaker fitted, but hopefully it can wait until this virus has disappeared. I’m really worried about her catching it in hospital. Hope she gets home asap.

While we were out on our drive by, we stopped and saw Rowan too. The breeder put them in a run in the garden, so we were able to see them in a socially distance acceptable way. He’s just over 6 weeks old now, so not much longer to wait. He’s becoming a ‘proper’ puppy now and is very playful  <3 .

Apart from that, we are just plodding on in the house. I’m still painting doors - there are 9 doors and a large winding bannister in the hall  :#

How lovely to do that for your grandma 💕 The hospitals are keeping CV patients well apart from normal ones so she will be fine. But obviously if it’s not urgent it would be best done at a later date to be on the safe side.

Aw to little Rowan, he’s gorgeous and will soon be with you xx

  • Things moved very quickly at the hospital, and Grandma had her pacemaker fitted this afternoon. All went well and she’s tired but happy. Hopefully she’ll have a good night’s sleep and may even be allowed home tomorrow.

Painted more doors today! 3 more to go!!
