Happy Mother’s Day all
.
I’ve had a lovely day. We all got together at MiL’s - my Mum and Grandma included. Everyone did something for a buffet so it wasn’t all down to one person, and it worked out great. It was also a NSD :T
Won £25 on lotto last night :T. Makes me feel better about a purchase I made yesterday. New L00k sent me a discount code and I still had some cash left on a gift card, so I ended up buying a dress online for my hollies. £30 dress for £11.20. Even though it’s a bargain it’s still an unnecessary spend, so I feel guilty. That said, New L00k are obviously in trouble so at least I haven’t lost the amount I had on the gift card. Will use £10 of the lotto win to replace the spend, and £15 can go into Florida pot.Debts @ LBM £23,729.31. Debts @ 08/04/2016 £0 :j

Went to Zumba with lovely neighbour again this morning. £4 spent so not a NSD, but no other spends. DH spent the time with MiL. He’s been a bit wavy, and complaining of feeling dizzy which is new
.
In amongst waves, he’s announced he wants to do an Iron Man Challenge in July .Debts @ LBM £23,729.31. Debts @ 08/04/2016 £0 :j

 to the Iron Man Challenge. Fair play to him for being up for it though. Hope the dizziness amounts to nothing, could it be low blood sugar/low blood pressure?
Please don't feel guilty about treating yourself to such a bargain dress. NL have some fab bargains it would be a shame if they go under.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0 -
Hope Mr Lucky's dizziness passes soon

Hope Mr Lucky is okay.
As for DS and self harm - The ideas of taking him to show their are others worse off might not make a difference. You obviously know him well enough to know why he says he wants/will. However as an adult who still self harms and it started back when I was 13ish It's never been about 'self entitlement/feeling hard done by etc' nor for attention. It's obviously different for different people. I'd just be cautious if you know what I mean
Hope you're looking after you too

Thank you for being so open WF, and making me consider another point of view. Perhaps I should have been more specific, though I was frightened/embarrassed/horrified to write it down as it made it seem real. He was actually wanting to ‘end it all’:(. He said we would all be happier without him because we hate him and are always mean to him

I can remember having this actual conversation with my DS when he
was not much older than your DS.

On a brighter note.
Collected my dress from New L00k and it’s lush. Really happy with it, and it’s in a smaller size than usual. Hopefully it wil be even looser on my holidays :T.
Weighed in a (supermarket carrier) bag of clothes. Got a massive 77p :rotfl:. Added it to Florida change pots.Debts @ LBM £23,729.31. Debts @ 08/04/2016 £0 :j
