I offered to fetch stuff for my lovely elderly neighbour, but she had already got a taxi to take her to the co-op because she was out of gin :rotfl:

Glad Mr Lucky is okay and no ambulance was needed. It made me worry when the snow was 'bad' here. It's not something I ever thought about until youngest came along but now I always think about it. Even when booking holidays etc I check how near to the hospital it is

Quiet weekend in terms of not going far in the snow. We still have snow on all the paths etc but the roads are much clearer now. We even had a gritter on the estate today - something I’ve not seen in 17 years of living here!! I assume it’s because the school is at the end of our road, but whatever the reason I’m not complaining.
DS1 was at a paintballing party today. I thought it would’ve been cancelled due to the weather, but it wasn’t so I took him. To be honest it was nice to get rid of him (or more specifically his hormones) for a few hours. It was almost worth the scary journey up the untreated dirt track to get there :eek:.
