Thanks all, I hadn’t even thought of switching to monthly payments
. I’ve looked into it, and it’s easy to do so I probably will, but I’m slightly hesitant about adding another £25 a month to our outgoings, when potentially I may have to add another £38 as well if I take on the whole mortgage payment but can’t get a better deal. Lots of ‘what ifs’ to think of.
Went to see the Christmas lights switch on yesterday in small town not too far away. The fireworks afterwards were amazing! Ended up buying stuff from the bakers to keep the boys happy while we waited though, so not a NSD. Hopefully today will be one though.Debts @ LBM £23,729.31. Debts @ 08/04/2016 £0 :j

Thank you SA and Hairy :A.
Today has been fairly quiet and spent indoors, save for a quick trip to the supermarket so not a NSD. Did some ironing and tidying up, and some prep for hopefully painting the dining room next week. It just needs a fresh coat of paint so shouldn’t cost too much.

I still have my staff discount card as my leaving notice still hasn’t been acknowledged, so I’ve made the most of double discount today to get some more Christmas presents in :T. My Mum gives me cash to get the boys what they want from her, and then I give her the things back to wrap up. Getting things extra cheap means they get more presents, and it won’t look quite so sparse on Christmas morning :T.
I also bought a hair dye because it seemed daft not to while I got extra off, and it will make me feel so much better (hopefully). I’ve booked a wet cut at the hairdressers on Wednesday, so as long as I don’t die of hypothermia going there with wet hair, that’ll be me sorted with a colour and a cut for less than £10 total .Debts @ LBM £23,729.31.
