  • Afternoon all! Thank you for the good wishes. Assessment went quite well in that the girl doing it used to work for a brain injury charity so had a bit of knowledge on the subject. She asked DH questions and I allowed him time to answer before filling in all the blanks for him. At one point she asked him to repeat 3 words after her, then asked him another question before asking him if he remembered the 3 words. He remembered the first, eventually remembered the 3rd but had no clue of the second. They weren't hard words either!! We will find out the decision in 4-6 weeks.

    Yesterday was a NSD :T.

Glad assessment went well. Great news that the girl doing it used to work for brain injury charity - at least she should have some insight. When Mr SA first applied for PIP he had to speak to someone over the phone. I made the initial call and told them they might have trouble understanding him. They insisted they had to speak to him direct, a few minutes later they wanted to speak to me as they couldn't understand him.

  • sorry, not been around much, glad the pip thing is done, cannot believe they work on Sundays. Must cost SO much.

hope the boys are calm and you have a good evening XX
    Nevertheless she persisted.

    Hi Lucky, :hello:

Not been around here much for ages - somehow feel no diary = not entitled [yeah, stupid - I know!].

Anyway, guess you're heading out to DH's PIP appointment now - positive vibes and very best wishes he gets the result you need!

Hope you managed to explain to DS1 that running away from trouble will only bring more - best thing to do when he realises he's blown it, is to put all his energy into helping sort out whatever problem he caused!

Helloooooooooooooo Hope life is being kind to you your garden and boys - children and pets xx

    Lost 2lb at chub club.

Been decorating DS1's room. Not that he deserves it.

DS2 passed his phonics test :j. Still don't have DS1's SAT results . Every other school I know of has given them out already but we will get them with reports next week apparently .
