Dawny, the last time I asked there was no opportunity to change shifts, but I can ask again. That said, work was fine last night (as was everything at home), so I feel slightly more relaxed about it all now. See how long that lasts .....
Beanie, happy August to you too! I hope it treats you well.
Pooh, thank you, we are enjoying the holidays (apart from the rubbish weather! Where is summer?!). I don't actually feel like we have DONE much though - we have had a distinct lack of days out etc, though the boys have been kept busy with swimming, parkour, parks and bike riding etc.
Mrs H, snogs to you too! Just read on your diary how much fun you are cramming into the holidays! Puts me to shame.
 15 months - poor Missy H and you too. It almost seems crueler to have long breaks like that than to have regular seizures.
My a$$ looks smaller but I still have thunder thighs.

Yes Lucky it really is cruel, Missy Hinge's seem to be linked to her hormones and growth spurts..... whether she is just genuinely out growing her dose of meds!
:rotfl::rotfl: thunder thighs indeed! I've been hula hooping to help shrink my jelly belly, muffin tops and rather large derier..... would help if I could keep the blinking thing going for more then 6turns :rotfl: I'm black and blue!Living in a superhero induced haze :A:A

You need Lilt to teach you, she is the hula hoop queen! Or my 78 year old neighbour who does 100 rotations every morning  XxDebts @ LBM £23,729.31. Debts @ 08/04/2016 £0 :j

I just finished hula hooping for 45 minutes and thought I would pop on to see lovely Lucky and here you are talking about my hula hooping!! Mrs H black and blue I have been, on my hips mainly, my work colleague has to strap a cushions to her knee to catch it on the way down! BUT I am no longer bruised, nor do I feel like it is doing anything and yet my waist has sucked in really tight!!
I've read and read about it because I simply didn't feel like I was doing anything, and the overwhelming opinion is that you do as much good to keep trying and dropping it as you do to keep it going. So do what I did, wrap a jumper round your waist when it gets too bad and just keep going. 7 calories a minute it burns!1

Lucky 9.5lbs!! Crikey, but super interesting to learn the kind of toll a seizure takes of Mr Lucky and his eating habits. It is something you knew of, but to see it put down in numbers.. well that is crazy! Tell him for every gram of carbs he ate and stored, he kept an extra 4 grams of water, so as soon as he works that off the water weight will drop quickly and he will soon be back to size!! As for the cracked rib, I can imagine the sheer pain he is going through, having broken my back... things you don't think you use but that move with every breath. Sincerest best wishes for him, and tell hi to rack out the codeine!!
Well done on 3.5 stone:D I am very proud of you!!! xxx
A black belt only covers 2 inches of your a$$ - You have to cover the rest yourself - Royce Gracie0 -
Reminds me of when we first got the Wii Fit and I went a bit mad on it, ended up with a pain in my side and going to the doctors. His face was a picture when he asked what I'd been doing and I said hula hooping and boxing!I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0

Lovely to have so many visitors
. Rounds off a nice day!
The sun has been shining! Eventually. My counselling appt was cancelled, so after DS2's swimming lesson we went to a Nat Trust place that we haven't been to before. It's actually where my Sister is hoping to get married so I wanted to check it out - it's beautiful. We were also lucky to find they were having an event for children today, so we made bird feeders and bug hotels, did pond dipping and went on a bug hunt. All great fun. Tonight DS1 did parkour again for two hours so we've had a full on day.
DH has been great all day but became Mr Angry tonight. Think it was a combination of being tired and hungry. Hope so anyway!
7 calories a minute! I need to get me a hula hoop.
MiT, grumpy sloth is right! Always right infact, mores the pity!! XxDebts @ LBM £23,729.31. Debts @ 08/04/2016 £0 :j

oh lucky I am so late to say this but sorry about DH. I think you are right to be very proud of DS1 - I am sure he coped with this all far better than most adults I know!
Glad to see you seem to be looking after yourself a little too.
i know it must be hard to know that it happened whilst you were at work but that doesnt mean you shouldnt have a little 'you' time (I know you are working but still!!)
catch up soon xx

Thanks Sparky. Hope you are well too Xx
Swimming this morning and then the Social Worker visit, which went well. The girl was lovely and she did say we would qualify for funding, but she's coming back in a fortnight to discuss things further. The last time DH was assessed by them was in the Head Injury Unit 8 weeks after his accident (4 years ago), makes you wonder why there has never been a follow up.
Chub club tonight and another 2lbs off :j. DH lost 5.5lbs of what he gained last week post seizure, so he's a happy bunny too XxDebts @ LBM £23,729.31. Debts @ 08/04/2016 £0 :j
