Can't believe it has been 4 years. I know what you mean about mourning, but at the same time... please look at how far you have come. The debt you started with is almost gone. You've a beautiful family, 2 happy healthy little boys and things are really starting to pick up now.

12th!??! I cannot believe this. Are you making it up? I've lost about 6 weeks :rotfl: - sounds amazing and well worth the spend!!!

Evening all! How's everyone doing? Beanie my lovely, you sound a bit down. Hope you are ok. Love also to Robin, who wishes she could be in our club, and I wish she was too Xx

Today we went to another Nat Trust place which is absolutely huge. Spent a good 4 hours wandering from park to trim trail to labyrinth to formal garden!! Took a picnic, MiL and her dog, and because she bought the boys an ice cream each we managed a NSD :j.

Lilt, it's scary how fast time is going! We have a meeting with DS2's Year One teacher in a few weeks :eek:. How did my baby get to be Year One already?? 6 weeks left of Reception!

Oh my goodness!! Time is flying way too quickly. Sometimes I want to stop time and just enjoy a few months of nothing changing!

I got an offer for the Nat Trust but there aren't enough places within easy reach for car-less me Hooray for NSD!! And MiL!

Congrats on the 20 weeks clear, and the fantastic weight loss. You are both doing so well at that. And being sub 2k that is fab as well. Won't it be fun when you can actually save your debt payments instead of having to spend them!

Chev, I can't wait for that day!! I sold a couple more bits on eb@y over the weekend so sent another £10 to Bcard, but would much rather have put that into savings. One day soon hopefully!

Today has been all about me . Counsellor this morning, then to see a friend after lunch and clubbercise tonight! Feel very self indulgent! DH is miserable though, think it's a combination of him feeling abandoned by me today, and a throw-away comment someone else made that made him feel 'disabled'. He knows that's what he is, but he doesn't like to think other people see him that way .

Your self indulgent day sounds like just what the Dr ordered. Sometimes nice to have a day all about you. It's been 4 years in coming xx

Glad you enjoyed your day for you You do deserve more 'me' time. The 'disabled' label is a hard one to accept. I prefer 'differently able' as used at one of the Hadrian's wall sites.

Pooh, I keep forgetting about 'differently abled'! That is so much better! Thanks for saying so Lilty, I'll pass that on.

I got my 3 stone award tonight :j :j. Finally!! Lost 2lbs this week, DH lost one. He still needs half a pound for his stone and a half award but he got his 10% off tonight so he's done well too.

Been to gym this morning and then did some running around for MiL, though that worked to our advantage too as we dropped some things off at the charity shop along with hers. Went through more bags from our loft as well and have listed more on eb@y. Not much up left up there that's not to be kept now. I also found a bag of clothes that my Auntie had given me ages ago but they were too small, so I'd put them to one side to eb@y as they were 'labels' and somehow they ended up in the loft and forgotten about. Most of them now fit and are in my wardrobe :T. The rest are going on eb@y as I wade through the pile!

Well done!! And even though we shouldn't say things like this.. still fab you beat DH at weekly pounds lost am buzzing for you so can't imagine how you must be feeling right now Mrs!! xxx

As for label clothes that now fit, what a great day to find them on!! Well done you obviously someone was saving them for you so you didn't eBay everything back when it didn't fit!!! xxx

Wow PLMBL I can't believe you are managing to lose weight as well as everything else going on. 20 weeks is absolutely brilliant.

My S first collapsed at school, everyone saw but no knew what was wrong. The next time it happened at home & he just collapsed & was completely out of it. I was sat next to S in the ambulance & the paramedic had to tell me he was having a seizure because the only movement was his little finger twitching! Never felt so stupid. That's the problem with Epilepsy no two people are the same but I think your OH is amazing.

Please don't think I'm being melodramatic but I think that you are probably or or at least have been suffering from Post Traumatic Stress regarding the accident & the stress of never knowing when OH may have seizure. I never thought my S would be stabilised but finally he appears to be after over 12 years. I really hope this is start of your OH being stabilised.
