Smart Parking, refused my appeal...

Hello everyone,
I received a parking charge at asda in 08/2014 from smart parking.
I sent off an appeal letter, although I had lost my main receipt I managed to find a receipt for something I went back for and sent that off too. They are saying that they are not accepting that receipt (as it isn't enough to say I was there over the 2hours) and that I still have to pay.
They have given me the details to appeal with POPLA but I have no idea where to go from here...
Can someone please help me?
Thank you
P.S I have read the other forum posts, but I struggle to comprehend lots of information at once and starting to panic a bit..

Write to Asda.
My mum parked in a different supermarkets car park and was there over 2 hours. They basically said they will get it cancelled.I am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a mortgage adviser, so you need to take my word for it. I have written to ASDA, and got no response from them.0

You spent 2 hours in Asda?
Didn't think so....... Some supermarkets are being forced to stop this sort of thing under pressure from local councils, who are apparently losing revenue from their council run car parks.
My local Morrisons bowed to this pressure and put in ticket machines, refundable in store and no more than 2 hours parking. It was a right faff, so people stopped shopping there and went to Tesco instead.“I may not agree with you, but I will defend to the death your right to make an a** of yourself.”

Well, it is annoying because not only is asda there but BM and other stores too, all for the same carpark... :S0

Ignore the lack of sympathy from others who have replied, these charges are not lawful and are easily beaten at POPLA. There is a lot of advice in the sticky thread of the parking tickets board, here:
Main board:

Sticky:

Please read the sticky first, and try to understand it. But if you have a POPLA code already, you will need to move fairly quickly, because there is a time limit.
You should also send a PM to Crabman, to get this thread moved to the correct area where people will be far less judgemental if you have further questions.0 -

Thank you for your helpI am calming down a bit now.
I am going to send my appeal off either tomorrow or saturday recorded post.
They keep saying that the PCN was issued at the time I entered the carpark...This confuses me as surely it should of been at the time of the overstay? Could that be a point to say in my appeal?0 -

She could quite easily spend 2 hours in a supermarket.I am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a mortgage adviser, so you need to take my word for it. Are you sure you've read the sticky?0

Circumstances don't matter. Your winning appeal will be based on LEGAL arguments, not mitigation (I guarantee POPLA will reject your appeal if it's based on mitigation).
Again, read the sticky, and use the template POPLA appeal to make sure you don't miss any winning points. When you have a draft appeal written, post it here before sending. No need to send it recorded either - this is MSE after all, and a free certificate of posting is more than sufficient.0 -
I have read it, as I said I have trouble comprehending large amounts of information, esp. when I am anxious.
I am going to write my letter now!!
P.S Is there a particular template for the appeal at this stage? I cannot find one...eeek0
