BT broadband order issues NOT HAPPY

Has anyone had issues ordering bt broadband?
order placed 31st oct projected install 11 nov
order cancelled because it got "stuck in bt computer system"
Second order 3rd November install date 12th Nov. Then 5th Nov VOL number supplied. Tried to track on line, order cancelled.
Called BT to try to get to the bottom of it they have "guessed" its due to me contacting royal mail/council and requesting a update/change to the postcode database.
There is a dial tone on the lines in the property.
I now supposedly have wait over a week to place a 3rd order...
This does not sound right?

Is this a brand new installation or are you switching from another provider?
BT systems must match your address perfectly to ensure they use the right copper cable to provide your service, especially if you do not currently have service from BT or a provider that uses BT Wholesale.0 -

Re-activation of line. BT know there are lines in the property.(previous owner has canceled them when they left. they do have a dial tone)
I am assuming when RM change address in in post code finder.(in 1 week) that will confuse BT system even more.0
