The handy thing a about this FREE £1 credit is that it transforms an otherwise virtually useless old Sainsburys PAYG SIM into a useful emergency SIM. As you only need to make one call/text every 180 days to keep it active, spending only 2p every 6 months (4p per year) would means that the £1 credit could last up to 25 years on standby!
Good old Sainsburys :j

15 mins to go and it looks like it's not working now.0
-
I did the text and had a text back saying it would be added within 24 hours but it hasn't so far after 35 hours, but it was worth a try0
-
What do you mean by "not working"? I sent my text at 23.55; is something supposed to happen, or were you just unable to send the text?0
-
'Not working' in the sense that once the text is sent, you receive a text back saying £1 credit will be applied to your account. Only worked on my current SIM, none of the others.0

I texted on 6 November using my current SIM but got no response.
I just checked. 'You have no calling credit'.
Oh well, nothing lost.0
