But I am on the electoral roll, I receive voting cards every election and by election, and when the form comes round my details are on it. I spoke to Equifax this morning and it says that Im unconfirmed but shows that I'm on the electoral roll.

Are you in a flat or some weird building name/number combo?

Does the address on the council form identically match what Equifax have? Check also Noddle (for free) and see what they think

Sam Vimes' Boots Theory of Socioeconomic Unfairness:

People are rich because they spend less money. A poor man buys $10 boots that last a season or two before he's walking in wet shoes and has to buy another pair. A rich man buys $50 boots that are made better and give him 10 years of dry feet. The poor man has spent $100 over those 10 years and still has wet feet.

Nope, normal address. Its showing fine on Noddle and Experian, they're both showing no issues, it's just Equifax who have the problem and trying to speak to the foreign call centre who just keep reading off a script and apologising is driving me mad

Things to note about your registration on the electoral roll
Below you will find an analysis of the electoral roll section of your credit file and a list of the things that could potentially be seen as impacting your credit worthiness in the eyes of lenders
...On the electoral roll at current address
    No
Years on the electoral roll at current address
    5
    Recent change of address
You have been on living at your current address for more than 3 years
Restricted Use Dates on Electoral Roll
    No 98-03
    Yes 03-14....

That's what appears on my file, the info between the dots doesn't make sense and it also shows how long I've been on the electoral roll at this address

Don't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.
