ORANGE MOBILE has "stolen" my money!
I have had an 'ordinary' mobile phone, using Orange mobile, for many years.
I am disabled and can't get out. I always keep my mobile phone on me safe in the knowledge that I can use it to get help if I need to.
Yesterday I thought that I would check my balance so phoned 453 as per usual and was amazed to get a voice message telling me "this phone is banned from using this number"
I then tried to phone someone and discovered that I had no credit!!!
Orange had stolen my money!!!! It was only about £6 or £7 but for me that's a lot.
Now I have no workable phone and less money.
What is going on? Help please.

Prob need a bit more info? Somehow you'll need to contact orange to find out the problem - do they have a web contact page?0

Perhaps they'll be sympathetic if you explain your circumstances?0

when was the last time YOU made a normal phone call?0

Maybe. My understanding was that one can't call 453 if there is no credit, but I could be wrong.
It's worth checking if the phone can receive calls/texts.0 -

The last time I made a phone call was last Friday and I had no problems.
Before I made that call I had £7.50 credit on my phone and my call lasted about 11 mins.:smileyheaMagenta0 -
In that case you will need to ask them for an explanation where the credit has gone otherwise it's just going to be guessworkThe last time I made a phone call was last Friday and I had no problems.

How long has the credit been there ? And does it have an expiry date ? Some do.0
