Nokia 6680 - e2save - sell & make £140+ profit?
Here we go then:
11 months half price line rental - 12 month contract
Works out £195 - £15 rpoints = £180
(You can't unlock the phone without paying '3' but it should still fetch over £300?? untested)
If you keep the phone then it sells for £399.99 on amazon so a bargain still

BARGAIN!!

phones on ebay are sim free/unlocked, so expect to get a bit less that £350 and watch out for non-paying bidders0

Have you not noticed the title of this website? It's Money SAVING expert, not money making:eek:0 -

Don't be so ridiculous! Martin's motto is 'screwing the big companies back' money making is a form of money saving, especially as it doesn't affect any other moneysavers by doing this.0 -
Unlocking the 6680 will be hard as it's a new style of phone.
There isn't even a calculator for the 6630 yet, the only way people have been unlocking them is by contacting the networks and paying.
The deal is still a good one though because it is a new phone, and it'd probably still fetch a high price on ebay.

No it's not, think you should check your facts before telling people that.
The Nokia 6680 is not DCT-4, so you cannot use a DCT-4 calc, it is a BB5 baseband generation phone.
All service functions (with the exception of flashing) can only be done with phoenix sw and smart card SX-4
SX-4 is only for level 3 + 4 service partners.0 -
Well duuhh, which "big companies" do you think you are going to screw back by selling stuff on ebay?
You should be on the rip-offs board!:eek:0 -

ummm let me think, gosh that's a tricky one - it's a THREE contract, they are providing the phone and contract. So yes you got it, it's three who lose out. But anyway why do you insist on criticising, it's up to you what you do with the phone, if people use the contract then three will gain anyway.
a) you don't know wot ur on about
b) let other people get on with what they want and stop moaning, if ur not interested then why are you here? Get back to writing your letters to the council
c) you've made 35 posts and been thanked once since oct 2004 & you think you are an expert, if this post wasn't allowed it would have been deleted0 -
and at the end of the day, some people out there *will* pay alot for the latest handsets... if they can get it cheaper then what is quoted on a 6680 (about £400) then so be it.
My only concern would be whether the phones are ''3'' badged, that would annoy me as i've been after one of these for agessssssssssssssssssssssssssss.
Cheers Darren, good find, did you get the disc?[fonefather] - If you would like free independent advice about phones feel free to message me. :j0 -
I totally agree with Darren21.....
It is a fantastic offer......£180 for a £400 phone (not to forget the sim card value 500mins anytime/ any network)......
even if you decide to keep it - well worth it0
