Best iphone 6 plus deals on contract

Hi guys,

I am due an upgrade and have been a loyal and on time direct debit customer with 3 for the last 5 or so years. I am currently looking to upgrade to an iphone 6 plus to replace my aging galaxy note 2. Anyway, when I phoned up, the guy basically said that there are currently no negotiation on the existing deals despite me being a good customer with them. He has suggested that I continue a monthly rolling contract which brings my payment down from £28 to £18. With that, I get unlimited date + 4GB tethering and 300 mins calls + 300 texts which I don't actually use. I was told that my monthly usage the last year averaged 790MB per month... which I found rather surprising as I thought it would be closer to 2GB!

Now, the cheapest deal which I found on contract that suits me can be found on the uswitch website. It is with carphone warehouse. The upfront payment for the phone is £170 (of which I get £63 cashback via topcashback - they said £25 cashback on the uswitch website but I believe that isn't combinable with the topcashback rebate). So basically it works out to be £107 up front + £43.50 for the phone. That deal includes unlimited mins + text (irrelevent to me) and 4GB of data. My only concern is that with 4G being so fast, I might end up using more than I actually need lol. Although I should be able to control that :rotfl::rotfl:.

Any other deals you guys would suggest?
