We just watched it as well Beanie. I can't think what could have gone so wrong with that young lad and his parents for him to end up on the streets. He seemed a decent enough young man and was obviously willing to work. Thank goodness his colleagues took him under their wing.
I honestly don't know what I'm more surprised at with the father and son living in a tent on the beach - the fact they're having to do that or the fact no jobsworth has tried to move them on.
It's all a complete shambles.xx

Also watched the young lad with sadness. What could be so bad that parents would reject such a vulnerable young man. Depressing...
On a positive note beanie you are indeed closer to MF status. If you have built castles in the air, your work should not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them

Sorry to hear the scooter hasn’t materialised. Hopefully only a few more days to wait.
My two kids have pulled some stunts in their time but I would never see them without a roof over their heads. Can never understand why people would throw their kids out. As you know my 32 year old DD still lives with me and she has been extremely challenging over the years but at the end of the day she’s my DD and I would never let her down.
Good news on not having long left on the mortgage:jI get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0 -

I saw the social housing programme with George Clarke - it’s a total disgrace. I’m hoping his celebrity status and campaign he is starting puts pressure on those in power to do something about it. The office building converted into 1 room living was horrendous- and we’re supposed to be a rich and caring country. I didn’t see the one about people living on the beach.
18 months will be here before you know it Beanie.....shows how plodding is getting you there.
