When we were in Dundee recently we met a rl friend for breakfast on our last morning. She rode her scooter from where she lives to the banks of The Tay to meet us as it was less hassle than getting into her car with a manual chair - she said it was about a 20 minute ride - and she debated long and hard about the scooter but can’t understand why now - it has changed her life....and you want to see how much shopping she carries on it - scared me in case she tipped but she insisted she was fine - and she was.
    I’m excited for you

Meetings with friends sound good Beanie - you don’t NEED to do the bathroom but will feel very satisfied if you do.
Chanting sounds just what you need too.

Getting a scooter has definitely changed Mr SA's life, makes him more independent and he doesn't need a carer now to get out of the house. On the minus side it's made his mobility worse as he's not using his legs and they have deteriorated from lack of use. It will make you feel so much safer out and about.

Hi Beanie :) Just catching up with you after a night away. Sorry to hear you fell but glad you're OK. I think we're all as excited as you are about your new scooter :) Your diary will soon be able all the gadding about you've been doing.

Great that your friend will be visiting. Enjoy the chanting. I shall be hymn singing. xx
