Have you done your chanting Beanie or is that happening later on? As well as singing there was clapping today and actions for the children to do - we're very modern :rotfl:

It's not the swimming I hate, it's the getting dried and dressed afterwards I loathe :D xx

You have to rent the space? I'm a bit shocked at that tbh. It's not as though it's a money making club you're running. I really hope it's just a nominal fee to cover any heating and electric used. xx

So this diary is about my disability and the challenges that brings and how that ties in with trying to be MSE.
I want to thank you all so much for the love & support you show to me & for listening to my rambling. Sometimes being disabled seems like a lonely place but not here.
I have finally made my peace with it.
    Only taken 50 odd years
I am trying hard to not see this as giving in but as enabling.

It's not giving in and I think it's very positive that you have made your peace with it :).

Beanie I met a friend who has MS and uses a chair last week. She got a scooter in June is has changed her life. She can buzz around on it getting some good distances without transferring from chair to car which is hideous. She met us at a local cafe, got herself there and back and we went for a walk, her chair is great on NT paths. I hope you love yours and it is a real boon to you.
